Kailea Loften (she/her) is a mother of Tahltan, Kaska, and Black American ancestry. A forever small-town girl, she is a lover of everything slow and subtle. Black tea with honey and cream, long walks regardless of weather, and the scent of rain in the air are a few of her favorite things.

Kate Weiner (she/her) is an environmental writer and student of community herbalism. As a 2025 Strange Foundation Resident, 2024 North Coast Project Participant, 2023 Editorial Fellow at the Center for Humans & Nature, 2021 Artist/Activist-in-Residence at Boulder Public Library, and 2018 Spiritual Ecology Fellow, she has devoted the past decade to creating work at the confluence of culture and climate justice.

Marketing Strategist & Copy Editor
Viva Wittman (she/her) is a writer and editor born and raised in Hawai’i, and now residing in New England. Her prose has appeared or is forthcoming in Loam Magazine, Laurel Review, Carve Magazine, Bloodletter Magazine, and Action, Spectacle. Her story editing work with AR studio 1RIC has premiered at Tribeca and Sundance while the scope of her marketing career has seen her in roles with brands, media organizations, and literary magazines. As a copy editor, she’s brought over a dozen full-length works to publication. She is a graduate of Bennington College.

Designer
Erica Ekrem (she/her) is a creative director and designer who shapes visual language across films, publications, and digital platforms. Rooted in slow media and storytelling, her work reflects a commitment to ecological care and deep listening. She lives with her family in South Dakota, where she creates handbound books under the name LoomBound.
